The Role
An opportunity has arisen at Dunkirk Memorial House for a Maintenance Assistant.
This role supports the Head of Maintenance to provide and maintain an environment in which our residents can live safely and in comfort.
You will be required to undertake minor maintenance and repairs to the buildings and grounds, carry out maintenance checks and be involved in record keeping, gardening and driving duties.
You will have a building trade qualification and experience of carrying out maintenance duties in a care home or similar environment. You must have a full clean driving licence with PCV. We operate a 24 hour service and the willingness to work flexibly and support during emergencies is essential.
