The Role
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to manage our Nursing and Residential services at Dunkirk Memorial House.
You will manage the process of admission; ensuring comprehensive assessments are made to inform comprehensive person centred care plans. You will ensure the delivery of safe, clinically effective, personalised care that is of the highest quality. You will collaborate with commissioners, GP’s, multidisciplinary professionals to help with long-term planning and effective implementation of care pathways.
You will ensure the positive wellbeing of beneficiaries while actively working with staff teams to support with development and achievement of their aspirations. Lead and support care teams to understand and manage risk and informed decision-making ensuring reference to mental capacity, DoLS/ Liberty Protection Safeguards and consent procedures where applicable ensuring records are accurate and current.
You will support the Deputy Manager to provide the service within regulatory framework of the Care Act 2014 and current CQC regulatory requirements. Conduct investigations of safeguarding concerns ensuring documentation is completed and reported to management and any relevant statutory authorities.
