The Role
An opportunity is available for a War Pensions & Compensations Advisor to join the National War Pension and Compensation (WP&C) Service. We are looking for an experienced advocates to provide specialist level representation at first tier tribunal to eligible individuals who are appealing decisions under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme and the War Pensions Scheme. Full subject matter training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will have experience of interpreting and applying legislation and presenting cases at first tier tribunal. The role includes providing comprehensive advice to appellants and the management of a significant caseload.
We are looking for someone with excellent communications skills and a strong focus on quality customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a methodical approach to work and sound organisational skills.
You will be home based, but there will be a requirement to travel to London for tribunal hearings as well as attend meetings across the country.
