The Role
The Royal British Legion is looking for an experienced Campaign Manager (Legacy Stewardship and Events) within the Individual Giving Fundraising team.
Sitting within the Supporter Development and Engagement team, and reporting into the Product Manager: Legacy, the Campaign Manager (Legacy Stewardship and Events) will be responsible for managing and developing supporter journeys to steward our Legacy Supporters.
You will be responsible for the implementation of supporter strategy and supporter journeys, marketing and managing the Legacy stewardship programme to deliver a first class supporter journeys for these supporters with the aim of retaining supporters, to secure future legacy income for RBL. This will include delivering Direct Mail campaigns, Digital and Email Campaigns, Face-to-Face events, Videos and Webinars among others, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to target.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of delivering marketing strategies and supporter journeys, delivering complex marketing campaigns. Significant direct marketing technical experience and skills are essential, consisting both offline and online communications. The candidate will also have significant evidence of effective income and expenditure budget management and of producing scenario models and forecasts, coupled with experience of analysing results and using insight to inform strategy and campaign plans. This role is supporter facing, and so the individual must be confident in engaging with supporters, and comfortable presenting to large groups of individuals, both in person and online via videos and webinars, and be willing to travel across the country to attend planned events.
Knowledge of Legacy marketing programmes is ideal but not essential.
The role is primarily office based in Borough High Street with occasional work from other Legion premises, however due to the COVID 19 pandemic the team are currently all working from home. This role will begin working from home and then follow organisational guidelines on returning to the office and homeworking policies, with potential opportunities to continue to work from home on a regular basis going forward. Please assume a minimum of 1-2 days per week in our London Office. Regular travel across the UK to Legacy events is also required.
